This is a Full time Temporary Position for a 6 month Contract.

Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing, the Coordinator E-commerce will manage the order fulfillment process from the moment an order is placed until it is shipped, and will ensure that the process runs smoothly. The incumbent will also assist with other e-commerce tasks, including updates to the online product catalogue and coordination of online content. The incumbent will work with various departments, including Credit, Merchandising, Distribution Centre, Retail and IT.

 

 

 

To do so, the Coordinator E-commerce will be expected to…

 

  • Coordinates the e-commerce order fulfillment process, from the moment orders are placed until they are shipped, monitoring each status and ensuring timely delivery
  • Updates online pricing and inventory on a daily basis
  • Ensures product availability and requests merchandise transfers when required, coordinating with Merchandising, the Distribution Centre and/or retail stores
  • Coordinates with the Credit department for: suspicious order credit verifications
  • Coordinates troubleshooting related to order fulfillment, with IT and external web development agency
  • Assists with updating e-commerce products with product images, product descriptions, related tags and SEO metadata
  • Assists with classifying e-commerce products under appropriate web categories (featured products, bestsellers, etc.) and tags related products
  • Assists with integration of e-newsletters into Mailchimp
  • Coordinates online copy and assets, as needed
  • May perform ad hoc requests

 

Our ideal candidate has…

 

A.      EDUCATION

  • College or Bachelor’s Degree in E-Commerce or Marketing, or similar

 

B.       EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of relevant e-commerce and/or marketing experience

 

C.       SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Magento, an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365, an asset
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Must be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Data entry; must be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • Bilingual: French and English (spoken/written)
  • Excellent communication skills
